DONETSK, July 17. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine’s army lost at least 1,000 men in combat actions in Ukraine’s south-east over the past week, Co-chairman of Novorossiya’s People’s Front Konstantin Dolgov told ITAR-TASS.

Dolgov said that the militia possessed reliable information that the morgues of the city of Kharkiv were packed with 4,000 corpses, with an increase of 1,000 over the past week.

“They include Ukrainian servicemen and also those who fought in the so-called special battalions,” he said.

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council said that 258 were killed and 922 wounded in the space of the entire military operation.

During the military operation, conducted since mid-April, Kiev has used armored vehicles, heavy artillery and attack aviation. According to Ukraine’s Health Ministry, 478 civilians have been killed and 1,392 wounded in it. Many buildings have been destroyed and tens of thousands of people have had to flee Ukraine’s embattled south-east.

The Ukrainian army has lost 258 soldiers and another 922 have been wounded in Kiev’s punitive operation in Ukraine’s embattled Southeast, Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council spokesperson Andrei Lysenko said on Tuesday.
