MOSCOW, July 17. /ITAR-TASS/. The next round of trilateral consultations on the Ukrainian crisis (involving the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe — OSCE, as well as representatives of Kiev and south-east of Ukraine) that is to be held on Thursday, is above all expected to yield an agreement on ceasefire and exchange of captives, speaker of the Supreme Council of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin told a briefing.

“There is hope that progress will be made towards a ceasefire. We don’t want the citizens to be killed anymore. Now we can talk only on ceasefire and exchange of captives all for all. It’s the only right option,” Pushilin said.

He added that “taking part in the consultations from Donetsk will be DPR First Deputy PM Purgin, and the candidature from Luhansk is yet to be approved”.

The consultations will take place at 19:00 on Thursday, the DPR speaker said.
