FORTALEZA, July 15. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived at the congress center of the city of Fortaleza where the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) summit is opening.

The summit starts from a meeting between the leaders of the BRICS countries in the narrow format, after which Putin will take part in a working lunch of BRICS leaders and in signing joint documents.

The leaders will then hold talks in an expanded format.
