DONETSK, July 11. /ITAR-TASS/. An explosion rocked the second floor of the central department store in the city of Donetsk, now the battleground between the militia of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) and the regular Ukrainian army, the DPR press service told ITAR-TASS on Friday.

One person was wounded, deputy administration chief of the city’s Voroshilovsky district wrote on his page in Facebook.

Ukraine’s Air Force warplanes have been scouring the sky over the city. Local shooting was heard in the area of the airport where militiamen continue blocking Ukrainian units in some technical facilities.

Ukraine’s military are shelling the militia’s positions in the Karlovka area with mortars, the press service said.
