Spokesperson of the UN general secretary Stephane Dujarric confirmed this news report to ITAR-TASS on Tuesday.

The UN mission on support in Libya temporarily cuts its personnel due to worse security situation in the country, he said, noting that this was a temporary step and it would be revised as long as the security situation improved.

Current crisis in Libya actually continues from the start of “the people’s revolution”, which resulted in the toppling of Muammar Gaddafi in 2011. Rebels coming to power cannot take control of the situation in the county which plunged in feudal strife. Islamic radicals who do not obey to central authorities keep controlling several districts in Libya. Meanwhile, the country turned in the main source of spreading weapons in the region.
