DONETSK, July 08. /ITAR-TASS/. The Contact Group on settlement of the situation in Ukraine may have a next round of talks in Ukraine’s eastern Donetsk regional city of Svyatogorsk, Donetsk Mayor Alexander Lukyanchenko told a news conference on Tuesday.

“I believe that the situation can be settled only in talks. This should be talks at the highest level,” he noted.

The mayor added that Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko had proposed to hold talks of the Contact Group in Svyatogorsk. In reply to journalists’ question whether the mayor was prepared to participate in these talks Lukyanchenko responded that presently he fulfilled his direct duties of providing life-supporting supplies to the city.
