KIEV, July 06. /ITAR-TASS/. Humanitarian corridors have been opened for relief aid to residents of Ukraine’s southeastern regions, Ukrainian parliament-appointed Interior Minister Arsen Avakov said on Sunday, adding that it was done at the instruction of President Petro Poroshenko.
“The main thing is to see to it that residents of Slavyansk and Kramatorsk receive, as soon as possible, everything a Ukrainian citizen needs: care in a situation like this. It is important that electricity and water supplies be resumed in Slavyansk, that it is hooked up to communications, television,” the press service of the Ukrainian interior ministry quoted him as saying.
