Crisis in Russia’s relations with EU, NATO can be overcome by joint efforts — Bulgarian FM
“Bulgaria is among the countries which would like to see the normalization of the dialogue as soon as possible,” he notes
SOFIA, July 04. /ITAR-TASS/. Crisis in Russia’s relations with the European Union and NATO can be overcome by joint efforts, Bulgarian Foreign Minister Kristian Vigenin told ITAR-TASS on Friday.
“No doubt, the current situation in Ukraine and ongoing developments in that country, whether we like it or not, adversely impact both the international situation in Europe and our bilateral relations with Russia,” he said. “We hope that if not in a short-time, but at least in a medium-time perspective joint efforts of the European Union, the United States, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe and Russia will help overcome the crisis not only in Ukraine but also in relations between the European Union and NATO with Russia, which will only invigorate Bulgarian-Russian relations.”
“Bulgaria is among the countries which would like to see the normalization of the dialogue as soon as possible,” he stressed.
