KIEV, July 01, /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko held telephone talks with Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and French President Francois Hollande, a report at the presidential website said.

In the course of the conversations, Poroshenko told his interlocutors he had called off the regime of ceasefire in his country’s eastern Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

He claimed that the Ukrainian side had stayed committed to its obligations for a whole ten days and it had allegedly paid dozens of human lives for this commitment.

Poroshenko said he would be ready to return to the ceasefire at any moment if the basic points of his “peace plan” were implemented.
