Russia’s troops will take part in Belarus’ liberation 70th anniversary festivities

MINSK, June 30. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia’s airborne troops led by Colonel-General Vladimir Shamanov have arrived in Minsk to take part in the celebrations marking the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from Nazi invaders.
During the visit, the Russian delegation will meet with Belarusian Defense Minister Yuri Zhadobin, the ministry’s press service says.
The delegation will attend the 103rd and 38th Guards Mobile Brigades, and the 5th Special Mission Brigade to study the organisation of training, the service and the personnel’s welfare.
On July 3, the Russian delegation will take part in the festivities devoted to the jubilee of Belarus’ liberation.
