The deputy Yury Stets is appointed the chief of the department
KIEV, June 29, /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine’s Interior Ministry has set up a department for information security control within the so-called ‘national guard’, the press service of the ministry said Sunday.
“Information flows, communications, collaboration and tactical management of information flows during combat operations, processing and interpretation of incoming data for the purposes of taking command decisions - such is an incomplete list of publicly declared functions of the department,” the press quoted the interim acting Interior Minister, Arsen Avakov.
MP Yuri Stets has been placed in command of the new department.
