Leaders of the newly proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic are ready to exchange hostages under the principle “all for all”

DONETSK, June 27. /ITAR-TASS/. The newly proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic is ready for peace talks only when Ukraine pulls its troops back from its territory and from the Luhansk People’s Republic, Donetsk republic’s Prime Minister Alexander Borodai said on Friday after the next round of consultations on the conflict settlement in Ukraine’s southeast.

“Naturally, we want such talks to begin,” he said, adding that the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics however had one condition they had repeatedly put forth. “We will begin such talks when Right Sector and National Guards units, and police forces are drawn off from the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics,” he stressed.

Leaders of the newly proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic are ready to exchange hostages under the principle “all for all,” Borodai added.

“We do not accept the term “hostages.” We agree to use the term “the detained,” he said. “We agree to conduct such swap in the all-for-all regime.”

“We have undertaken to make relevant lists and hope such lists will be presented by our opponents as well,” he added.
