Forced to leave their home: refugees from Ukraine's south east

Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko promised make public a settlement plan for the situation in eastern regions of the country. The peaceful plan begins with presiden't order for a unilateral ceasefire. The military operation in south east Ukraine has killed hundreds of people and has forced thousands to leave their homes. The most recent reports say almost 19,000 people from war-torn regions of Ukraine have crossed into Russia. Refugees in Russia are accomodated at holiday homes, special tent camps or at local residents' places. Images of the people driven out of their homes in this gallery by ITAR-TASS.
