MOSCOW, June 18. /ITAR-TASS/. Setting up an inter-parliamentary group may help negotiate a Ukrainian settlement, head of State Duma Committee for Foreign Affairs Alexei Pushkov said on Wednesday.
“We suggest that the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe [OSCE PA] should form an inter-parliamentary group of representatives of national delegations who would like to discuss ways out of the crisis in Ukraine,” Pushkov told a news conference.
Diplomatic resolution required high-level international mediation, he said, adding “We believe that if an inter-parliamentary group is created, this might contribute to enhancing our dialogue with Europe.
