Russia, Ukraine ombudswomen discuss joint mission for deescalation in Ukraine’s south-east

MOSCOW, June 13. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian and Ukrainian human rights commissioners, Ella Pamfilova and Valeria Lutkovska, are discussing the creation of a joint human rights mission to facilitate deescalation in the south-east of Ukraine.

“The talks have not been ended yet. The commissioners are nowdiscussing the format of the upcoming mission. The mission will deal with the release of prisoners (as a result of armed confrontation in the southeast of Ukraine),” the member of the Russia's presidential Council for Civil Society and Human Rights, Elizaveta Glinka said on Friday.
