MOSCOW, June 12. /ITAR-TASS/. Moscow demands an immediate investigation into the use of incendiary bombs in Ukraine, Russian Foreign minister Sergei Lavrov said on Thursday.

“We are concerned to hear reports that the Ukrainian military forces use incendiary bombs and some other indiscriminate weapons,” he said. “These reports should be probed into urgently.”

Russia’s Ambassador to the United Nations Vitaly Churkin “will call on the OSCE mission, which has observers in Ukraine, to establish facts (of the use of the prohibited weapons) and also he will press ahead with the investigation into the tragic events in Odessa on May 2, in Mariupol on May 9, in Kramatorsk, Sloviansk and into February’s case of Maidan snipers,” Lavrov said underscoring that these “probes must be brought to the end.”

“We know that the Council of Europe is ready to join the inquiries that the Ukrainian authorities are conducting and we are certain this must be done,” he said.
