MINSK, June 12./ITAR-TASS/. Belarus’s President Aleksander Lukashenko says the relations between his country and Russia will develop as strategic partnership.
“Nowadays, Belarus and Russia have been implementing major integration projects in the interests of our people, have been working actively to achieve results in the economic and political cooperation,” Lukashenko said in a greeting to Russia’s President Vladimir Putin on the Day of Russia national holiday, celebrated on June 12.
The Belarusian president expressed confidence “in future the Belarusian-Russian relations will develop as strategic partnership and mutual support”.
