Voronezh investigators ask refugees from Ukraine to give information about war crimes
VORONEZH, June 11. /ITAR-TASS/. Investigators in Voronezh have asked Ukrainian citizens arriving from the war-torn south-east to give information about Ukraine's war crimes as witnesses, an official said.
"Investigators are asking people about what made them leave Ukraine and whether or not they witnessed active combat in the regions of their residence, Yelena Manukovskaya, senior aide to the director of the regional department of the Investigative Committee, told ITAR-TASS on Wednesday.
Russian investigators will also decide if the refugees will be able to take their grievances to the European Court of Human Rights and the International Criminal Court, she added.
The investigators plan to question adults, and then ask their permission to question the children who had arrived with them in Russia.
