Ukrainian lawmaker calls for Russian assistance in creating work places, launching the economics in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions

MOSCOW, June 05. /ITAR-TASS/. Vice-premier of the Russian government Dmitry Rogozin has met deputy of the Ukrainian Rada Oleh Tsariov in Moscow on Thursday to discuss problems connected with the implementation of Russian Defense Ministry's contracts by the industrial enterprises of Ukraine.

"We will discuss the developments in Ukraine which have deadlocked the deliveries of completing parts ordered by Russia. Kiev is practically totally ruining the Ukrainian industry," Rogozin told journalists before he met Oleh Tsariov.

The problem pertains to the Luhansk and Donetsk regions as well, Rogozin added. "That is why on Mr.Tsariov's initiative we will discuss the problem which arose as a result of a very problematic situation and a "blockheaded" position Kiev assumed in respect to its own industry," Rogozin said.

For his part, Oleh Tsariov underlined that the Donetsk and Luhansk regions have set forth a task of "launching the economics in their regions". "The matter, above all, concerns industrial enterprises which have close links with Russia," Tsariov said. "This task is important for taxation contributions to the budget and creating work places. But this cannot be done without the assistance of Russia," Tsariov said.

"Over the past hundred days Ukraine, run by the government of Arseniy Yatsenyuk, had demonstrated a strong downward tendency, a decline in all the parameters, growing tension and worsening social standards," Tsariov said. “But, people in the Donetsk and Luhanks Republics intend to build good neighborly relations with Russia, develop economic and industrial cooperation; we are counting on Russia's support," Tsariov stressed.
