Russia's investigative committee sets up unit for crimes against civilians in Ukraine

MOSCOW, June 04. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia's Investigative Committee (SK) has set up a special department to investigate world-level crimes against peaceful civilians committed in Ukraine, SK spokesman Vladimir Markin told ITAR-TASS on Wednesday.

"The department will function until all the Ukrainian military and persons who are committing crimes against civilians (in Ukraine) are taken to criminal courts," he said. "All the investigative branches of the Russian Investigative Committee in the regions that accommodate refugees from Ukraine will be engaged in the work of the special department.
