The Russian Emergencies Ministry says it had already appealed twice to the Ukrainian authorities with an offer of humanitarian aid to the Donetsk and Luhansk regions

MOSCOW, June 03. /ITAR-TASS/. Kiev has not responded to the Russian offer of humanitarian assistance for the war-torn Donetsk and Luhansk regions, a Russian official said.

"We've sent our proposal to Ukrainian colleagues (to provide aid) via air bridge, but they haven't made such requests," Russian Emergencies Minister Vladimir Puchkov told reporters on Tuesday.

“We have already sent an offer to them twice. The first offer - a month ago. The second one - seven days ago. And today I will send one more proposal,” he said.

Volunteers are sending relief supplies to the two Ukrainian regions on their own, according to the minister.

Puchkov said his ministry had offered Ukraine to evacuate from the Slavyanskaya hospital an eight-month baby who was on artificial respiration.

"The Russian Emergencies Ministry is ready to provide all the necessary assistance," the Russian minister said.
