Children’s hospital comes under artillery gun fire in east Ukraine overnight
A relatively calm situation remains in the city, no shooting and blasts are heard at the moment of reporting
SLOVIANSK, May 30. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukrainian military forces have been shooting at residential districts in the city of Sloviansk, east Ukraine’s Donetsk region, overnight to Friday. An artillery shell has hit the children’s hospital, a representative of people’s militia told ITAR-TASS.
In his words, children were staying at the hospital at the moment of shooting, but they were not hurt. Meanwhile, the children’s outpatient clinic was damaged.

An artillery shell has hit the roof of the school hall in a residential district in the town of Artyom on May 28. Children and teachers who were staying at the school building were not wounded, because they had taken refuge in the basement converted in some kind of bomb shelter. Four people were killed in the artillery gun fire on this residential area on May 27.
