KIEV, May 27. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukrainian Communists have accused Right Sector militants of attacking the Party's office in the city of Dnipropetrovsk on Monday evening and blamed police for slow response.

“Late in the evening, armed bandits from the so-called self-defense forces formed by Right Sector leader Dmytro Yarosh and funded by the regional governor, attacked the building of the regional committee of the Communist Party in Dnipropetrovsk," the Party's press service said.

Communists said it took time before the police arrived to the scene after a call. “A police squad came half an hour later, though it's just a three-minute drive to the nearest police department,” the press service said. “We keep calling them and they're keeping silent.”

The Communists said none of the attackers had been detained and that some 20 attackers were still blocking the building.
