SLOVIANSK, May 27. /ITAR-TASS/. Four people have been killed and one wounded as a result of continuing shelling of the Ukrainian city of Sloviansk, ITAR-TASS reported on Tuesday from the site.

During the night and on Monday evening the city was shelled from artillery weapons. The Ukrainian military also used submachine guns and small arms. The killed were apparently victims of artillery shelling, as their bodies were found near shell craters.

A representative of Sloviansk people’s militia told ITAR-TASS that the information about casualties was being verified and that the number of killed an injured might increase.
