KIEV, May 26. /ITAR-TASS/. Head of Ukraine’s Central Election Commission (CEC) Mykhailo Okhendovsky has ruled out the possibility of the second round of presidential elections in the country.

“We can already make a very important conclusion. There is no need to hold the second round of elections. Ukraine’s new president was elected on May 25, 2014,” Okhendovsky said. The head of CEC said Petro Poroshenko won the presidential election in Ukraine.

Okhendovsky noted that Poroshenko will make his first international visit to Warsaw.

Around 89.21% of ballots have been processed in the “Elections” electronic system. According to the latest data, businessman Petro poroshenko leads with 54.18%, former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko received 13.01% of votes, Oleh Lyashko – 8.43%, Anatoliy Hrytsenko – 5.41%, and Serhiy Tihipko got 5.28%.
