One National Guard fighter killed, two wounded in Sloviansk — Ukraine's Interior Ministry

KIEV, May 25. /ITAR-TASS/. The Ukrainian Interior Ministry has said that one fighter of the National Guard was killed and two more were wounded in a clash in Sloviansk (Donetsk region).
According to the ministry press service, “an attack on a warehouse of the Ukrainian National Guard was registered yesterday late at night, as a result of which two military servicemen were wounded and one killed.” One of the wounded by hit by a grenade and another got a gunshot wound in the chest, the ministry says.
Shelling of Sloviansk
On Saturday evening, a representative of the people’s militia told ITAR-TASS that several houses had been partially destroyed because of shelling by the Ukrainian security forces of Sloviansk and adjoining settlements.
In addition, a number of local media reported on Saturday that Italian photographer Andy Rocchelli together with his French colleague and an interpreter came under fire in the south of Sloviansk that was surrounded by the Ukrainian military. As a result, the Italian journalist and his interpreter were killed. On Saturday, the Italian Foreign Ministry confirmed the death of Rocchelli.
