On Wednesday, a convoy of military hardware belonging to Ukrainian law enforcers was seen moving from Kharkiv in the direction of Izum. A source from the headquarters of the self-defense forces said that the Ukrainian law enforcers had been building up their forces around Sloviansk and Donetsk.

Parliament-appointed acting President of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov said earlier that the authorities were prepared for a final stage of the special operation in the east of Ukraine. On Wednesday, Turchinov held a conference with Ukrainian law enforcers, taking part in the special operation, at a military camp near Sloviansk.
