A gas pipeline caught fire
SLOVIANSK, May 19. /ITAR-TASS/. A residential building was damaged and a gaspipeline caught fire during Ukrainian army's shelling of the city of Sloviansk overnight to Monday. Ukrainian army troops shelled Sloviansk from mount Karachun. A shell exploded 15 meters from a residential building," a member of Sloviansk militia told ITAR-TASS.
Nevertheless, the situation in the city is quite calm. "The shooting and explosions have stopped. Schools and kindergartens work, pharmacies and hospitals are open," the representative of militia added.
