Ukraine seeks constructive border cooperation with Russia

“A package of measures is indispensable in order to stabilise the situation on the Russian-Ukrainian state border,” the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry says

KIEV, May 17. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine proposes Russia to restore constructive cooperation between border guard services, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry says.

The Ukrainian ministry has sent a note to this effect to Russia.

“It is necessary to restore constructive border guard cooperation as soon as possible that will help normalise the situation and prevent further violations of the state border,” the ministry says.

“A package of measures is indispensable in order to stabilise the situation on the Russian-Ukrainian state border,” it says.
