Ukraine crisis to be resolved ‘on basis of law and order’ - Chinese FM

“China is committed to the principle of non-intervention in internal affairs,” China's Foreign Ministry spokeswoman says
BEIJING, May 12. /ITAR-TASS/. Parties to the Ukrainian conflict should settle differences by legal means, China's Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Hua Chunying, told journalists, commenting on referendum on the status of Ukraine’s eastern Donetsk and Luhansk regions on Sunday.
“China is committed to the principle of non-intervention in internal affairs,” Hua Chunying said. “We respect Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.”
The official added that resolution of the crisis “should completely meet the legitimate, justified and reasonable demands” of all parties concerned. Conflict in Ukraine should be settled “on the basis of law and order” and all parties should “solve disputes in a proper way”.
