KIEV, May 11 /ITAR-TASS/. Kiev’s authorities say that the Sunday referendums in Ukraine’s eastern regions “will have no legal consequences for Ukraine’s territorial integrity and state system,” the Ukrainian foreign ministry said in a statement on Sunday.
The documents accused the organizers of these referendums of “acting in violation of the Ukrainian constitution and laws.” “The overwhelming majority of residents of the Donetsk and Lugansk region,” according to the statement, would not take part in the voting.
