SLAVYANSK, May 10 /ITAR-TASS/. Kiev’s troops opened mortar fire at a roadblock of the supporters of federalisation in the eastern Ukrainian city of Slavyansk on Saturday, May 10, ITAR-TASS correspondent reported from the scene.
The mortar fire continued for ten minutes. Machinegun and other automatic gunfire were conducted as well. Militiamen said no one had been injured.
The roadblock is located on a railway crossing blocked by several freight carriages to prevent the troops from entering the city.
