Ukrainian security services occupy Mariupol City Council
One person died and three were injured in an attack on checkpoints near Mariupol
Donetsk, May 7. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukrainian law enforcers involved in punitive action in the South-East of the country, occupied the City Council of Mariupol, city’s official website reports.
"Machinery is working near the City Council now. People dismantle the barricades, load tires for trucks. On both sides of the City Council excavators are working. There are several police cars near the building," a statement said.
The City Council was released from militants May 7, press service said. Nobody heard any shots in nearby houses in the city center.
According to the information acquired Tuesday evening one person died and three were injured in an attack on checkpoints near Mariupol, self-defense activist Dmitry Simonov said. According to him, the attack was conducted by Right Sector and Ukrainian troops.
