TEHRAN, May 05. /ITAR-TASS/. UN nuclear agency IAEA delegates arrived in Tehran on Monday to assess progress on observing steps honoring the disarmament accord signed by six world powers and Iran in Geneva last November.
The mission is led by International Atomic Energy Agency Iran task force chief Massimo Aparo, Iran’s national news agency IRNA said.
Agency experts will visit the Arak nuclear reactor and two other facilities in the country’s central Yazd region, Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization AEOI said.
The Geneva agreement suspended sanctions on Iran when the state pledged to prove its nuclear program was for peaceful purposes.
