KIEV, April 28. /ITAR-TASS/. Unidentified people blocked the jet of Ukrainian presidential nominee Mykhailo Dobkin on the runway of Kherson airport. Deputy director of the airport Yuri Sidoryuk reported this on Monday.

“At about 09:00 (06:00 GMT) the jet carrying Ukraine’s presidential nominee Mykhailo Dobkin landed in Kherson airport. In this moment, several dozens of activists forced their way to the landing strip and blocked the jet. I had to hold talks with the participants of the action. Meanwhile, the jet managed to turn towards the end of the strip and take off,” local media quoted him as saying.

The regional office of the Party of Regions reports that Dobkin intends to hold a news conference “regarding the impossibility to hold a full-fledged electoral campaign and visit Ukrainian regions”.
