MOSCOW, April 24. /ITAR-TASS/. Kremlin is verifying information on the scale of clashes in southeastern Ukraine, the Russian presidential spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, told reporters on Thursday.
"The information is being verified," he said. "It's difficult to get information from there (Ukraine's south-east) as there are disruptions of communications.
"What's a hundred percent certain is that at least some military hardware is engaged there," Peskov said.
Legitimacy of May 25 elections causes serious doubts
Actions the authorities in Kiev are taking in the southeastern regions of Ukraine call into a big question the legitimacy of the May 25 presidential election, Dmitry Peskov said Thursday.

Russia to leave national security doctrine unchanged
Russia will not revise its doctrine of national security in connection with NATO’s growing activity, the presidential spokesperson said.
"There's no need to change it," Dmitry Peskov stated.
