Up to 70% to 80% of bullets shot through the victims’ bodies

KIEV, April 23. /ITAR-TASS/. Most killings that were committed in February on Kiev’s Independence Square (the notorious Maidan) will be very hard to resolve due to the impossibility of identifying the weaponry used by the killers, Vasily Paskal, the chief of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry’s Criminal Investigations Department said Wednesday at a session of an interim investigative commission of the Verkhovna Rada, the national parliament.

“Up to 70% to 80% of bullets shot through the victims’ bodies,” Paskal said. “This highly complicates the identification of the types of small arms, which the victims were slain from.”

“We’re doing expert studies now,” he said.
