KIEV, April 22. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine is ready to cooperate with US and European companies in the energy sector, parliament-appointed Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk said at a news conference on Tuesday.
“We need investment in the energy sector,” Yatsenyuk said. “The presence of European and American investors in Ukraine would be the best response to energy dependence on Russia,” he said.
Kiev “is ready to discuss joint operation and modernization of Ukraine’s gas transportation system” with American and European investors, Yatsenyuk said.
