SIMFEROPOL, April 14. /ITAR-TASS/. Sanctions imposed by the United States and Canada against Crimea-based gas company Chernomorneftegaz would not affect its activity, company spokesman Valery Kotenev said on Monday.

“We have never worked with foreign companies, so we don’t care one way or the other,” Kotenev said, noting that Chernomorneftegaz was a nationalized Crimean republican enterprise.

The US and Canada imposed sanctions against the Crimea-based company on April 11 and 13 accordingly.
