Pakistan's ex-president Musharraf indicted for treason

If convicted, Pervez Musharraf faces death penalty or life sentence in prison

NEW DELHI, March 28. /ITAR-TASS/. Pakistan’s former president Pervez Musharraf has been indicted for treason,  Agence France-Presse reported.

Musharraf, who had served as a president in 2001-2008, is accused of “instituting emergency rule during 2007 protests” and “suspending the constitution.”

If convicted, Musharraf faces death penalty or life sentence in prison.
