Cyprus parliament comes against any sanctions on Russia

“Russia has always supported the Republic of Cyprus in critical times,” the parliament’s resolution says
NICOSIA, March 28. /ITAR-TASS/. Cyprus’ parliament has called for refraining from actions, capable of damaging relations with Russia.
On March 27, the parliament demanded the government come against sanctions and other measures, which endanger vital relations with Russia.
“Russia has always supported the Republic of Cyprus in critical times,” the parliament’s resolution says.
Thirty opposition deputies voted for the resolution. A lawmaker of the ruling Democratic Party voted against, with 15 abstentions.
