Turchynov proposes parliament to approve foreign armed forces’ access into Ukraine
The parliament is proposed to take a decision on granting foreign military units access to Ukraine this year for participation in several military drills
KIEV, March 26. /ITAR-TASS/. A draft law “On approving Ukraine’s president resolution granting access to military units of foreign armed forces into Ukraine’s territory in 2014 for participation in multi-national drills” has been registered in Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada. The parliament’s press service reported on Wednesday that the draft bill was submitted by Speaker and parliament-appointed interim President Oleksandr Turchynov.
The parliament is proposed to take a decision on granting foreign military units access to Ukraine this year for participation in several Ukrainian-Polish Air Force exercises, Ukrainian-American maneuvers Rapid Trident 2014 and Sea Breeze 2014, international drills Bright Avalanche 2014, international exercises of mountain infantry units Carpathians 2014, Ukrainian-Moldovan-Romanian drills of mechanized units South 2014.
