EU sanctions against Russia will affect Europeans — member of European Parliament
Member of the European Parliament said the stance of the European Union should be different from that of the United States
MOSCOW, March 25. /ITAR-TASS/. Sanctions of the European Union against Russia will affect Europeans themselves, Pino Arlacchi, member of the European Parliament, said in an interview with Itar-Tass.
He said the stance of the European Union should be different from that of the United States; Europe must not insist on the prolongation of the sanctions, as the sanctions are silly and are actually directed against Europeans themselves.
Arlacchi believes that the European Union will not further toughen sanctions against Russia. He said Europe has every reason to cooperate with Russia, there are no obstacles to that. The United States’ position is quite different, he added. The member of the European Parliament is sure that the United States wishes to become a world government and it regards as an enemy any country that disagrees with it.
