BRUSSELS, March 17. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine and NATO have confirmed their intention to boost military cooperation and develop Ukrainian military potentials. NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen stated this on Monday after a meeting with parliament-appointed Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Deshchytsia in Brussels.
“This partnership includes development of ties with Ukrainian military, as well as the expansion in the number of joint drills. In addition, NATO will more actively involve Ukraine in its multinational projects regarding the development of military potentials,” Rasmussen stated.
