About 1,500 journalists are accredited to visit polling stations
SIMFEROPOL, March 16. /ITAR-TASS/. Mass media cover the voting at polling stations in Crimea freely, Crimean Information Minister Dmitry Polonsky said on Sunday.
“Of course, there are some difficulties. Journalists call me,” Polonsky said. “However, I don’t know about any incidents that have influenced the work of mass media,” Polonsky told CrimeaInform.
Accreditation allows journalists to visit any polling stations, the minister said.
About 1,500 journalists are accredited, Polonsky said. “We give mass media a possibility to cover the process. We seek to stop the lies and we want people to see that Crimea votes independently. People want this themselves,” the minister said.
