Crimean Minister for Information and Mass Communications says "pro-Ukrainian media outlets report on an annoyingly regular basis” about cases in which Ukrainian journalists were allegedly detained
SIMFEROPOL, March 12. /ITAR-TASS/. The Crimean authorities dub as provocations reports about alleged detentions of Ukrainian reporters in the autonomy.
“Pro-Ukrainian media outlets report on an annoyingly regular basis” about cases in which Ukrainian journalists were allegedly detained, physical force was used against them, with their cameras and other hardware seized, Crimean Minister for Information and Mass Communications Dmitry Polonsky said.
“However, nothing concrete has been said in any of these reports about them, namely which reporters were detained or battered and where, and where their cameras were seized,” he added.
“So far, these are purely provocations by pro-Ukrainian media and pro-Ukrainian journalists,” the minister said.
