Ukrainian Prime Minister appointed by the parliament said Western countries proposed to convene a contact group
KIEV, March 11. /ITAR-TASS/. Actions through an international contact group is the only way out of Ukraine’s situation, Ukrainian Prime Minister appointed by the parliament Arseniy Yatsenyuk said on Tuesday.
“Western countries proposed to convene a contact group,” he told a parliamentary session. “I support contacts with representatives of European countries and the United States.”
Yatsenyuk called on parliamentarians to adopt a statement to guarantors of the 1994 Budapest Memorandum to secure Ukraine’s independence and territorial integrity.
He said he would discuss these issues during his visit to the United States, where he would go later on Tuesday.
