BRUSSELS, March 03. /ITAR-TASS/. Belgian Foreign Minister Didier Reynders considers a proposal on Russia’s exclusion from G8 “unlucky”.
“This is the only format in which we can talk with Russia directly,” Reynders said ahead of an extraordinary meeting of EU foreign ministers.
The ministers are gathering in Brussels over the situation in Ukraine.
“Now it is necessary to take real measures to de-escalate tension. It is also important to lower tones for making statements. We cannot allow a major crisis,” he told RTBF TV.
