MOSCOW, February 18. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov had a telephone conversation with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry. The United States initiated the conversation, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

“Lavrov raised again acute question about critical condition of Russian citizen Konstantin Yaroshenko, who is sentenced to a long term in prison in the U.S., demanding to hold full-fledged medical examination on Yaroshenko with Russian doctors involved and provide for his qualified treatment course,” the Russian diplomatic agency noted.

Russia “hopes that our specialists will be able to make freely, desirably together with American doctors, full-fledged examination of the Russian citizen and prescribe a required treatment course to him,” Russian Foreign Ministry’s commissioner for human rights, democracy and supremacy of law Konstantin Dolgov said earlier.
