Syria’s deputy FM: Russia does not put pressures on Syria

GENEVA, February 14. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia does not put pressures on Syria, contrary to what other countries have been doing, and bilateral consultations will go on, Syria’s first deputy foreign minister, Feisal Megdad, told a news briefing in Geneva on Friday.

"The Russian government is not putting pressures on us, contrary to what some other countries have been doing. We maintain a businesslike relationship with our Russian friends and we shall keep building a common stance on what issues are urgent for addressing within the Geneva agenda, how we should move on, and what is to be done to ensure the conference ends successfully."
